HOW TO STUDY THE VATO -TRAINING PACKAGE? |
In the training package the learning process advances in steps both in terms of time and content and is something that the learner plans together with his or her tutor. Learning is a purpose-oriented activity, during which the learner acquires new knowledge. Learning-oriented teaching enables learners to be the subject of their learning process and to make independent decisions based on this. The tutor is there to support and guide learners through the learning process, so that learners' individual thinking and problem-solving processes can promote learning. |
The training package is designed to provide support for the functional capacity of older people and it is based on a process-oriented approach to learning. The teaching plan is designed according to the process-learning model. Issues linked to supporting the functional capacity of the elderly are learnt in a certain order and teaching is designed to be a long-term process. |
